The El Dorado County Water Agency (”EDCWA”) is a long-term water
planning organization that leads, assists, and participates in important
projects such as securing water rights for El Dorado County and promoting
water conservation.  EDCWA was established in 1959 with the
Chapter 96 Water Agency Act.

EDCWA also operates the El Dorado Water & Power Authority, a joint
powers authority comprised of EDCWA, El Dorado County and
El Dorado Irrigation District.

EDCWA does not provide or maintain water; however if
