Tobacco Laws Affecting California

  • EL Dorado County Clean Indoor Air and Health Protection Ordinance–Chapter 8.60
    This link will take you to El Dorado, California:  County Code webpage and link to Title 8, Health and Safety, Chapter 8.60.  You may search sections 8.60.010 through 8.60.120 for smoking definitions, prohibitions, exemptions, violations and penalties and enforcement.

  • Food & Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products (FDA) This website contains information about the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (H.R. 1256). This legislation provides the FDA with the authority to regulate the manufacturing, marketing and sale of tobacco products.
