Prenatal Health and Infant Care 
The Maternal Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Program assists woman, children and their families to access care and improve their health.
Services are free and include:
- Ongoing assessment of health and psychosocial needs
- Consultation and teaching about illness and disease
- Nutritional assessment for pregnant women and children
- Breastfeeding support
- Advocacy for families to help them access the medical systems
- Linking families with services available
(i.e. WIC Women Infant Children's Nutrition Program, CHDP Child Health and Disability Prevention Program, Immunization Program, Lead Poisoning Prevention, Healthy Families/Medi-Cal, Immunizations).
- Periodic growth and developmental screening to assess if infants are achieving expected milestones
- Environmental assessments to keep your baby safe
- Referrals to specialty care providers
- Home visits
- Information on how to have a healthy pregnancy and caring for your child
- Monitoring and analysis of health trends and statistics in the community
